Route : Haridware / Rishikesh / Delhi last rail head to uttarkashi 96 km from rishikesh. last big town for markatting and arrange equipment from NIM. or other aggency.
Uttarkashi to gangotri by bus or jeep.( Last road head on this route)
Gangotri to Bhujbasa transit camp i, good accomodation and food available here.
Bhoujbasa to Nandanbon (Base camp) 6hrs trek on gangotri glacier, lot of boldaring on broken glacier this way. last morine to climb and reach on nandanbon.
Nandanbon to upper nandanbon camp (ABC) 4hrs trek on field light hight gain. pleasent treak.
Upper nandanbon to Camp i hight gain 8hrs trek, beter to carry pack launch. good camp site on mixed snow and rock area, on weather condition.
Camp i to camp ii ( sumit camp) height gain strip up mixed snow and loose slate rock, high rich climb take 6 hrs, on condition. see wikimapia camp ii location, big rock there. safe tent pitch area. narrow. short place for two two man tent or three.
we reach up to here, we tryd three days in vary snow and bad weather here, last ly we came back to camp i. in bad weather.
